I was lucky enough to have Serkan do my highlights. He was fantastic! Very happy and kind and SO talented! My highlights look FANTASTIC!! He was meticulous and skilled and it certainly shows when you see how great my hair looks!! So natural and seamless! "I had a keratin treatment yesterday with the owner and she was excellent. Also the girl who washed my hair and helped to start the treatment, was excellent as well. I am very bad with names so I can’t remember, but I think the Owners’s name is Janice. Both very personable and NICE. They made me feel very welcomed and very much at home. The other girls who work there were very sweet as well, offering me something to drink and making sure I was comfortable. The salon is also very clean and has a cozy feel and I like the stations. They were essentially a vanity cabinet with drawers and I thought that was very clever, versus a typical station you see in other hair salons that don’t have a lot of drawers. I also liked how they had a room in the front for reception and then the main room with all of the stations and then another room to wash hair. I thought the set up of the salon was awesome. I noticed everything! While I was there, the owner was just finishing up hair extensions for someone and boy Oh boy did they come out Spectacular! I was extremely impressed. I will definitely be back And I’ve already told my sister to call to schedule her Keratin."

"I just got a color, cut and blow out. The color looks amazing, cut looks great and the blowout is just glamorous. My Hair looks super healthy and shiny. Everyone was super nice and polite. They took me in right away. This place is really a hidden gem in Oakland. I will definitely will be back."

"Absolutely awful customer service. I was looking to book hair and make up for my daughter and myself for her upcoming Bat Mitzvah, and after leaving two voicemails in July someone finally answered the phone and said they'd call me back shortly but didn't. Due to the proximity of the salon to the venue I kept trying knowing under normal circumstances I would never tolerate this. Finally after asking to talk to the owner I booked appts for my Sept event. I called this week to meet the hair stylist ahead of time to simply say hi and have a brief discussion prior to the day of. The person who answered said they were meaning to call me because the stylist doesn't work there any more (no surprise) and asked if we can come earlier on the day of the event. When would I have learned this if I didn't call? We couldn't come earlier due to the morning ceremony at the synagogue. The owner got on the phone as if she was doing us a favor - not apologetic to make it right but saying she could step in as long as it isn't anything "elaborate like corn rows?!?!?" What?! There is too much to try to unpack with that comment, but today also delivered another doozy. When I called to cancel the appts the same owner answered the phone and said "perfect." Not asking what they can do to make this life event special or ever apologizing for their unorganized team in place but "perfect" that I was canceling..Never experienced that response in my life, but good luck to the stylist that knew better and left. Perfect."
